Access to HE graduates share their success stories

Date: December 7 - 2021

Former Access to Higher Education students have shared their experience of the Diploma with QAA, outlining the impact that obtaining this unique qualification has had on their lives.

Recent stories include a panel discussion which was recorded in celebration of World Access to Higher Education Day on 17 November. The panel was composed of former Access to HE students Sudhuf Khan, Tom Felton-Hunt and Romit Laud, and chaired by Nick Petford, Access to HE graduate and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Northampton.

Vijaya Lakshmi Beard, an Adult Nursing student and former Access to HE student, is featured in another of our recent stories where she outlines her experience of returning to education as an international mature student, and how completing the Diploma has given her hope for the future.

We also have a range of other case studies detailing the varied disciplines that Access to HE graduates have gone on to study at university, including Medicine, Health Sciences, Engineering and Music.
