The Access to HE website aims to meet the recommended standard of the World Wide Web Consortium for XHTML 1.0, CSS and Level AA of the accessibility guidelines.
The site aims to be accessible to assistive technologies and flexible for all users.
Accessibility features within the site are:
- adjustable text size
- high contrast colour version
- text only version.
Links to these features are available throughout the website from the site's top navigation bar.
Additionally, font size may also be increased or decreased using your browser's settings and the website is accessible through keyboard tabbing.
Visitors to our site using the Safari browser should note that in order to navigate the website using their keyboard, the Universal Access tab settings in Safari need to be enabled. Go to Preferences > Advanced and select 'Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage'.
