QAA's Access team - Sam Watts (Personal Assistant)
Sam joined QAA in 2003 and is personal assistant to Kath Dentith, Matthew Cott and Chris Clare. Sam's role in the Access to HE team includes setting up the initial stages of Access to HE reviews, organising meetings, dealing with public enquiries, correspondence and administrating internal team meetings. Sam is also secretary to the Review Method Development Group and is currently working on the Access to HE case studies project.
In addition to her responsibilities within the Access to HE team Sam is also personal assistant to Jane Holt and Ronni Littlewood in the Reviews Group. Other activities include administration of UK and overseas audits, IQER and Northern Ireland reviews. Sam is Secretary for the HE in FEC Liaison Group and the HE in FEC Policy Advisory Forum and has involvement with arrangements for the annual HE in FEC conferences. Before joining QAA Sam worked previously as a buyer for a large insurance company.
