Professor Chris Clare

Chris Clare joined QAA in 2007. He previously worked at London South Bank University where he started as a programming lecturer in 1981, became Head of Computing and Mathematics and finally Executive Dean of business, computing and information management. He was involved in developing Access to Higher Education and foundation year programmes for engineering and computing.
His academic interests were originally in computing, where he had worked for a number of years for British Telecom, but he moved into business and management and finally, through research with the Open University, into academic quality management.
