Grading scheme review

We are conducting a review of the grading scheme. View our infographic to find out more about the grading scheme and forthcoming changes.
Our animation explains further why we've made the changes to numerical marking.

Guidance for tutors

The Tutor's quick guide to grading is a practical guide to the Access to HE Diploma grading scheme, for anyone involved in  teaching or assessment on an Access to HE Diploma course.

As well as explaining the key features of the method used for grading the Access to HE Diploma, it provides an introduction for tutors who are new to Access to HE, and is a useful reminder for those who have already had some staff training or development on the grading scheme.

More detailed information is given in the full guidance: Grades and the Access to HE Diploma: Grading scheme handbook (the full grading scheme handbook is available in the QAA Recognition Scheme for Access to HE section of our Publications library).
