Access to HE Higher Education Admissions Fair

Building on the successes of previous years, QAA is holding its fifth annual Access to HE Admissions Fair at Central Hall, Westminster on Friday 20 October 2017 from 10am until 2pm.

Book your place now (opens in new window) and join over 2,000 former students who have benefitted from speaking directly to a range of higher education staff about the degree courses they offer and what it’s really like studying at their university.

Who should attend?

This event is held exclusively for students and tutors on QAA-recognised Access to HE courses.

Why should I attend?

This event recognises the fact that Access to HE students have to make complex decisions about the increased range of possibilities for study in HE.

Students and their tutors will have the opportunity to:

  • speak directly to representatives from 30 HE providers about their courses and discuss what they offer for mature students
  • find out how HE providers handle applications and what they are looking for from Access to HE applicants
  • attend free workshops on HE student finance and funding, and making an effective application, some of these will be specifically about applying for undergraduate nursing studies.

Since the first event in 2013, over 95 per cent of attendees said the event met their expectations. They were also more confident about finding a suitable course in higher education as a result of attending.
